So why does it look like it? Real answer: one day I was home rolling, smoking, rolling again… and my mouth was dry as hell. Tongue felt weird, lips felt crusty. I said, “Ain’t no way I’m rolling another one like this. Something gotta change.” So I did the old hood trick — went to the kitchen and grabbed the honey. And yeah, it helped… for like two seconds. My blunt hit smoother, my tongue felt better, life felt cute.
Then reality slapped me. Everything was sticky. My fingers were glued together, my Backwood started unrolling like it had somewhere better to be, and somehow honey ended up in my hair. I looked stupid. That’s when the overthinker in me kicked in like, “Lemme actually look up what smoking honey does…”
Big mistake. Turns out heating honey makes some nasty mess like hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) — which is basically a long science word for “this gonna irritate your lungs and tweak your cells.” And here I was thinking honey was giving antioxidants and throat-soothing angel powers.
